I am interested in the social consequences of mobile communication. I am a sociologist and so I use the tools of that discipline - qualitative interviews, surveys, statistical analyses - in order to better understand how the mobile telephone has played into the way that we interact, coordinate, share feelings, construct our social spheres and how we create social cohesion.
